In Spain (conclusions)

In Spain Shakira sings in Spanish, oranges grow on trees (and not only on Tesco-shelves), and you can cut some fresh aloe vera leaves if you get sunburnt. People don't drink tea, but only coffee, at parties you drink dark rum, and the time of the siesta is as sacred as one's mother. You never mention death, never joke about other's family members (especially the female ones), and if you want a rough fight you simply say "mi cago en tu puta madre."

Spain is a Catholic country, so cocktail bars don't sell "sex on the beach", only few people speak English, and some people can get seriously offended if you assume that they actually work when they are at work. In Spain your skin soon gets golden brown, on the radio every song has to include the words "corazon", "contigo" and "te quiero," and life becomes pretty dangerous for a man when women start wearing their tiny summer dresses...
